Description

This feature class represents Offshore Oil and Gas Platforms in the Gulf of Mexico federal waters and off the US Pacific coast. An Offshore Platform is a facility constructed to extract and process oil and natural gas from wells drilled on the sea floor. It may also have drilling rigs and quarters for workers.
