| RIPRCSTRATEGY | string | Yes | 3,268 | — | — Range: —Length: 2014 | Examples: Acid Area 1 Decision Document signed in FY 16 RA-C awarded in 1st quarter of FY17. Remediation will be off-site disposal of PCB contaminated soil. RC should be achieved FY20. Acid Area 1 contains 5 areas all with PCB contamination and each requires off-site disposal. Remedial action is by PBA contract., MEC (a live M49 trip flare), 20 mm cartridge of unknown origin, and MD associated with 40mm projectiles and a 20mm casing was found by the SI field team. In addition, a live 2.75-inch projectile was found the Franklin County Bomb Squad while responding to address the live M49 trip flare. SI sampling results showed the lead concentration in surface soil exceeded background but did not exceed the human health screening value. Ecological receptors are not considered to be present. Additional investigation is warranted for both MEC and MC. RI/FS contract awarded in FY16. RI/FS Completion dates scheduled as follows: WP completed in FY18, RI FY19, FS FY20, PP FY20, DD FY21. As remedial investigation progresses, remediation strategy will be developed and refined., RA-C phase underway. MEC confirmed at site. Due to safety concerns working on an old lava field, no geophysical or soil sampling work can be done. Anticipated remedy to be IC only. IC will be education and signage. Anticipated length of LTM phase to be a minimum of 30 years., This site was recommended for No Department of Defense Actions Indicated 30 January 2011. , Contaminant of concern includes OEW and petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil and groundwater. This project is recommended for closure in the INPR dated 02 May 2018. The cemetery project and all other projects requiring an RI/FS have been moved to other projects, so all remaining areas of concern have recommendations of NFA. MDEQ agreement was obtained through their agreement wiht the content of the amended INPR. Although the bulk of closeout coordination is expected to occur in FY18, final negotiations and finalization are anticipated to occur during FY2019. Project Closeout was completed on 29 October 2018.
